Kurt Kemmerer is the former Chief Operating Officer of CoreTech Solutions for GE Digital responsible for Product strategies and overseeing all operational aspects of GE’s $2B infrastructure landscape. Kurt is an experienced IT leader with a career spanning 33 years at GE. Most recently, he served as Chief Enterprise Architect at GE Power where he was responsible for improving and contemporizing the major systems architecture and IT operational capability across the $30B+ business. Kurt also played an integral role driving increased productivity across GE as the Digital Thread leader within GE Digital including $730MM of savings in 2016. Prior to this, Kurt was Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Alstom Integration Planning based in Paris, France, where he led all IT aspects of the integration and supported the corporate and business IT teams. Additionally, Kurt has held various CIO roles within GE Corporate Finance, GE Intelligent Platforms, GE Capital, and most notably Global Research, where he supported the IT needs of the near 5,000 researchers and software-based employees. Kurt has also held IT and Lean Six Sigma positions for several other GE businesses at locations across the U.S. and Europe. Kurt resides in the Albany, NY area.
